The story comes full circle. The 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 is back for Australia in right hand drive, engineered to Australian Design Rules, supported by our transformed Australian HQ in Pakenham, Victoria, and protected by a 5-year unlimited kilometer warranty.
Why Sierra 1500, and why now?
Australia has had to put up with the mid-level trim Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and RAM 1500 for a while now however clients keep asking for the GMC alternative because of its luxury trims, technology-rich cabins, factory off road options and long-distance comfort. They also wanted choice – the 3.0 litre Duramax turbo-diesel for touring efficiency or the 6.2 litre EcoTec3 V8 petrol for effortless performance. AT4
AT4 is the entry to serious off-road ability without sacrificing daily comfort. A 2 inch factory lift, Rancho shocks and skid plates increase clearance and protection on rough tracks. Hill descent control and traction select give confident control on steep or loose surfaces. Inside, the Jet Black cabin with Kalahari accents feels purposeful yet refined, making AT4 a smart choice for owners who split time between work sites and weekend destinations.
AT4X
AT4X is the step up for drivers who want controlled articulation and impact management over ruts and rock. Multimatic DSSV dampers deliver precise damping on fast corrugations and slow technical sections alike. Front and rear e-locking differentials provide true traction when diagonal wheels lift, and the upgraded interior with full-grain leather and a 12 speaker Bose audio system keeps long touring days calm. AT4X is the balanced pick for real off-road use without losing premium comfort.
AT4X AEV Edition
The AEV Edition is a factory collaboration with American Expedition Vehicles for owners who push harder off road. Heavy duty stamped steel bumpers increase approach and departure capability and are winch-ready up front for self recovery. Enhanced underbody protection shields key components, while 33 inch Goodyear Wrangler tyres improve bite and sidewall strength on sharp rock. This is the premium off-road Sierra for Australian outback conditions where protection and durability matter.
Denali
Denali focuses on quiet luxury with real-world capability. Signature chrome details and genuine wood trim set an executive tone.
