First of all, the GMC Sierra SLT is distinguishable with its slightly different front grille to the bolder Denali model. Most noteworthy is that the GMC SLT towing capacities and power are the same as the Denali.

Similarly, the 6.6L Duramax Engine and 10 speed automatic transmission remain the same. Towing specs of 4,500kg (tow bar) and payload of over a 1,200kg for the 2500 HD Models, plus a GCM over 11,000kg. The Sierra SLT is built tough.

Finally, the SLT trim is complete with the addition of the Multi pro tailgate. This unique system allows the tail gate to fold open into a step, a work bench or simply to allow better access to the tub.  The standard power seats, reverse camera and the Pro Grade trailer system are also added.

Besides the SLT trim, you can also have the Sierra SLT premium plus package. As a result, you have front ventilated and heated seats, centre console and sliding rear window. Furthermore, rear heated seats, Bose audio sound system with wireless phone charging. Finally, the SLT has safety features such as Driver alert with lane departure warning and forward collision alert.
